Oh boy!! Barth is cocked, locked and ready to rock!

Finally got the best of the persistent ATF leak at the cooler line fitting. The Chinese brass coupling has pinholes and cracks in the fitting itself! Replaced with black pipe coupler...AOK.

Leaving for Milford about 10 AM. Should be there mid afternoon!

Having missed out on several GTG's due to malfunctions of one kind or the other I am proud to say "Larry" and I are here and well. Truly sorry for those that wanted to come and are not able, glad for the ones that are here and looking forward to the ones that are on the way.

We are definitely enjoying the fellowship of our "Barth" friends.

Well... As-of the other day, I have a significant electrical / electronic problem I am chasing-around the coach.

PD 9270 is putting-out 49 volts.
Remote Dongle is OUT.

...Instead, I will probablly pick-up some overtime this weekend to pay for the damage.

Pretty disappointed about the whole thing, as this is the most severe complication I have encountered in 7 years of ownership.

Not sure what else to say, except I was really looking foward to this epic event...

Will post more in TECH TALK as I muddle thru this problem.

Disappointing I was right near your house last week. I figured I'd see you this week in Goshen. Sorry to hear you are not makin it good luck on the fixes. We will get together. You, Tonka and I wlll have to have a Minnesnowta GTG.

What the heck is a dongle?

Getting back to the rally...
When it comes time for the wine swap or wine tasting, we can use a RABBIT knockoff I brought. Works beautifully. Has never mutilated a cork or pushed one down in.

There were some great hors d'ouevres at the "wine tasting" Friday.

Some of the recipes are already in this thread.

If yours isn't listed, please post it there!

I was a looking forward to meeting Bill New York and thank him for hosting this site and to thank him for hooking me and Kay up with Lou and Barb from Alegan MI. Two if the finest people I have ever met. Nick and Rusty were primo hosts. Nick needs a third life as an auctioneer as he did good. Although I had a very visible life in Corp America and the Army, etc, I was never much a social animal as opposed to a tech nerd sort of guy. I reveled in this mixed bag of folks whose common passion is the Barth. A month ago I did not know a Barth existed and took the plunge. My thought I said Barf and said we already had several of those, lol. Barb gave me a book to read about John McCain and his father and grandfather. So, I had a few things I could say to Rusty since Navy talks differently than Army, especially Academy grads. I gained a lot of respect for what he accomplished just getting thru that deal. While I did not attend as a student, I did spend time at West Point as a field grade and have a great respect for the all academy grads. Nick and his wife were excellent hosts. Thanks for the experience.
