MWrench, I agree that all things are working in our favor for what looks like a super GTG.

I am really excited about this GTG. Have been missing meeting up with my Barth friends. So glad to get back in the swing.

This will be an excellent event. Good turnout already. Some all star Barth GTG members. What a great way to start the summer.

Single digits last night and tonight. 15 gallons of gas through the snowblower now. Frowner

Heading south earlier, last week of January this year. Florida Keys via Texas. I am so ready. Tooling Along

Quinn,
Would you be up for the halfway point on page? I do not know what is in Lexington, Nebraska. It does not have to be in 2017, but 2018 might be a little off topic. What is the farthest you will travel? What is the best time of the year for you to drive the Barth to m
meet other members?

Time,Time and not enough of it. We are pondering. If I get that far south my Louisiana relatives would kick my Butt if I didn't make it there also. All takes time. I have to many projects. Trying to work out a plan and schedule.
We had a little GTG here in Minnesota and it was only 30 miles away. DBarth made it and Lynn. Me I had work out of town. Time, Time. Time head bang Deadhorse

Well, we went to Salt Lake City this summer, and it pretty much took 2 days, or about 400 miles per day. I have three in elementary school and one in pre-school. Can't go too long or far with 4 boys bouncing around and getting into fisticuffs. Have to stop every few hours for everyone's sanity. Maybe with a few more trips, their tolerance will improve.

I would do 1,200 miles, but it has to match up with spring or winter breaks, which are two weeks, or during summer. Three days there and three days back take up about half the spring and winter breaks. That would be Wyoming, New Mexico, or Colorado?

Summer is a bit more loose, but I do have to work once in a while, LOL.

OMG, that reminds me of family vacations in the old 53 Ford station wagon, ala Lampoon's Family Vacation… Three in the back seat…"I want the window seat, he's touching me, are we there yet?" and the baby in the front between Mom and Dad.

Dad's driving one handed, the other arm over the seat, swatting at the bad kids. nono

Every so often he would pull over, dump out the three of us and drive ahead and make us walk to the car to blow off steam. Once he got so mad he drove out of sight! (Nowdays child services would have a fit!) ROTFLMAO

Quinn you are a saint. Good luck with your tribe of renegades. Hope to meet up sometime.

Have Barths, will travel, soon. Tooling Along
