Angola/Hogback Lake KOA
I met with the Fortravel Group in Angola, Indiana last year. Circle B campground, is now a Kampground Of America. Would any members like to meet there? Located less than one hour away from Elkhart.

I like the state park where we have alway met. It's convenient and the people there are very friendly.

Not much action on voting, maybe we need a list of folks who think they would like to attend first, see if this is even viable!!!

Hi all,

The Hogback KOA looks like a pretty nice campground as long as it's not in a flood prone area.

Any more thoughts on dates?

When Tonka gets out of her winter quarters she needs a short visit with Cummins for routine service before any road trips, but then we can't get her home until after our neighboring burb lifts its 4 ton spring weight restriction on May 1.nono

We should be good for anytime late May or early June forward. Tooling Along

Thanks,
Wally

According to the Event Calendar the Fairground should be open the 17th-21nd of June if someone want to try and set it up. They have always treated us well. Nothing fancy but inexpensive as places go.

We are there for the Barth Family. Amenities are nice but we really just spend time talking, having adult beverages, good food and camaraderie. I would love a few trees but ..............

Don't take this as I don't want anywhere else. I just think the time will work for us and it is/looks available.

Elkhart County Fairgrounds is open. Only 30 AMP sites are available for this summer at Elkhart. That is why I suggested Hogback Lake.

I had a chat with Jane at the Goshen site today. She told me that she cannot GUARANTEE full hookups because two large groups have booked their facility. However, they will have 30 amp sites with water. If we go in that direction, I have a dump tank anyone can use. She also wants a list of attendees and one contact person. I would be glad to do that considering all the work some or you have done in the past. Talk it over and let me know.
