It is with great sadness that I am having to post this. Unfortunately owning a beautiful Barth is not working out well for Tom and I. It requires much more time and workmanship than we are able to give at this time. Our 1990 Barth Regal is in need of some mechanical repairs.

The last time we used the Barth it was not running smoothly. It had no power and didn't want to accelerate it kept chugging. So my first attempt was to change all fuel filters, and since the ignition system is original, I purchased new plug wires, plugs and distributor, a good place to start. Unfortunately when changing the plugs I noticed cracks in the welds on the manifold. My intentions were to remove the manifolds and install headers. I have not been able to remove the bolts so, hence, no further work has been done. So this Barth will be sold "as is".

1990 Regal, 28 foot, 454 Chevy engine. Tag Number: 8906-3620-28C-D1. The inside is pristine and all in great working order. The hydraulic jacks are now working and there are four new tires on the back.

We are asking $15,000. I know there are pictures on file but I'm not sure how to post them.

Tom and Lorraine,

A problem that has vexed many P30 chassis owners from our years is the failure of the electric pump mounted in the fuel tank.

Perhaps that is at the root of the performance problems your rig has.

Good luck,
Matt

HaHa Steve, I know you would do it, no doubt about it. It feels great to be working on the ole Barth again.

Can't miss the 2014 GTG at Milford, looks like a great turnout happening.
