This post, Craigslist & Barth Rangers sites call it a '79, yet the owner listed it as '73...

If it's a '73, that's a nice looking square headlight modification.....(For me, the front end design of early P30's is an acquired taste, and the square headlights are a plus.)

If it's a '79, when did the rear bustle go away, as several '79's I've seen are without it.

Inquirying minds need to know...... Smiler

It's a "73: driver's chrome "flipout" ashtray (on the wall to his left) and the steering wheel are early 70's. Bustle is the clincher.

My 84 has wall ashtrays like that.

I believe the bath is opposite the kitchen.

I have visited Bill and Ann in their coach, and it is a good one. Bill is an excellent mechanic and takes good care of his stuff. He has done some clever improvements.

I think you're right Gunner......Maybe......

Being a slow day here, I pulled up the '73 & '74 Barth brochure pdf's on Dave's CD....Here's what they show:

1. 1973 was the last year of the narrow windshield and 1974 was the first year of the GMC Astro-cab windshield. This one is clearly a GMC piece of glass,

2. 1973 doesn't list a 34', but '74 does, and with what looks to be the correct floorplan (INCLUDING a bathroom, Mary Ray Smiler

I guess this helps verify that things could change ANYTIME in Milford Indiania back then...

At any rate, I hope the seller offers up some more info about this coach and its history...It's a fine example of Vintage Barth!

Notice the square head lights. I bet that is a recent upgrade because they look so shinny and I think 1973's were round.

Ah! thats why it disappeared off the lot in the last couple of days. I thought that since it has been getting warm and late in the season that he had probably put it in storage or taken it back to Wa. for the summer.
