Well, if something does go wrong (not that I hope it does) I would be interested in this Barth.

On another note, If anyone knows where there might be a Barth slide in / pick-up camper available, please let me know. Thank you!!

Thanks to Richard for having everything ready for the trip home. The coach ran very well, the only issues being a somewhat high oil temp, just shy of 250 most of the time, and a frequent popping from the exhaust, which I think is the newly rebuilt carb dumping too much gas and the unburned gas igniting when it hits the hot pipes. The engine runs strong and smooth, but I'm going to do a little work on the throttle linkage to smooth it out.
We sat up til long after dark just looking at things and starting to decide what we want to do.
Knowing all the fun we had doing things to and with the Euro, we can't wait to get started on this one.

What a bunch of fun going through this coach and making it our own. The local Pit Stop guys are coming tomorrow to swap the wheels and tires. The tires on the new coach are pretty good but I just paid upward of 2 G for new ones on the Euro so I'm keeping them. Friday we leave for Valdosta for the drag racing, and I'm really not a bit worried. This coach runs and rides and drives like a dream. Now to do some overnighting and living in it.
This thread should go to sold, because it most assuredly is!

Danny,
I was in the shop tonight and I forgot I have some Doug Thorley tyi-y headers I will make a deal on I have two sets I will sell if anyone else is interested but you get first choice.
I would like to find a Barth Trailer to restore. I have always wanted one. don't think they would fit on a trailer!!!

It never ceases to amaze me the joy we get from these marvelous machines, I am 1500 miles away and I can still see the light from Danny's eye.

Richard, I was thinking of putting headers on my Euro, what is your price? I just had a new exhaust system installed will those headers directly replace the manifolds?

Thorley headers are a good thing. Engine runs better and the tubular pipes cool down way faster than the 100 lb cast manifolds, easier on plug wires, etc.

Headers do bolt on where the manifolds come off but with the manifold removed the pipes have to be cut to length. These headers I have do not have boltgaskets or collectors they will have to be obtained but can be purchased at any local auto parts store. What is your zip code and I will try to guess what the shipping would be to you. They are quite heavy...
