Richard, my Euro is the same one I had at the GTGs at Hillsborough. I believe Dick still has your old one. If I can get $3000 or better for it I'll buy yours.

Danny, that would be a steal for anyone buying your Euro. And RPs is a steal as well.

Pretty sure Suzie and I are buying Richards coach. The Euro will be up for sale, but not sure when, as it will need some work to be up to snuff.

Barring anything very unusual, this will be our new coach. We can't wait to start making this incredible coach our own.

Yeah, and Jim offered me his Class C! Think I'll need a bigger building for the Barth Museum...

I'll need a Breakaway, Regency with Gillig and Cat, Ford Oshkosh chassis Regal, class C Dodge chassis, an early toaster, I suppose even an MCC/Regency with Detroit Diesel...

So many projects, so little time.

As for Danny, you're probably right. Besides, we still want to visit them when we get to Florida. Always a great time.

Don't scare me like that Steve! If all goes well this one will be sitting in my driveway next weekend. Richard has a few ends to tie up before he lets us have it.
Still waiting for the new holding tank for the Euro, they sat it's shipped, so I can get it installed and put her up for sale. No room around here to become a Mary Ray member.

Very cool Danny. That looks like a really nice coach. Will it be ready for Hillsborough?

The Mary Ray Society is always ready for new members. I think you could be the next. We'll all vouch for your character and your devotion to the Barth family. ROTFLMAO

My coach is still in the shop waiting for front airbags replaced. Rear bags and brakes are done. We're looking forward to seeing folks again.

Have Barths, will travel. Tooling Along

It will be at Hillsborough Steve. We've [mostly Suzie] been cleaning out the Euro, and remembering a lot of good times. It sure is a lot different when you know what you have and decide to part with it.

Danny, I think I can feel some of your angst over selling the Euro.

I have considered selling the 86 but so far not yet. I did not expect the Monarch to come along and it is the last coach I'll ever need. I have many trips to go.

Meanwhile the 86 has now sat unused for almost exactly one year. Never ran better than the day I parked it. Started right up the other day. I have many great memories and always enjoyed the coach but I'm not sure what future it has for me. If I plan to downsize it would be convenient and familiar but I don't know if I should keep it idle for very long. It is stored inside so not getting worse but it deserves to be used.

As you know it has to be the most documented Regal in the world. Just listing all the things I've done to it/with it would take pages. (I have over 700 photos and 3000 posts here on this site!) Even so, it still has some areas that need attention soon, ie corrosion in wheel wells and cargo bay floors. Also the rear axle gears are the only driveline parts that are not new from radiator back.

I paid $10k for it in 2011. Must have at least another 15k in it now. (I don't really want to know) I know it is not worth $25k on the open market, I probably couldn't get $20k for it so no reason to sell it and take a beating, but if it won't be used... hmm

Good luck parting with your mechanical mistress. See you in Dec!

Talked to Richard last night and barring something totally unforeseen this coach will be moved to the sold forum on Sunday, and I will be a member of the Mary Ray club until I can sell the Euro. Richard has gone way beyond what he had to as a seller and I have complete confidence in the coach.
