Duane probably hid something valuable in Old Nose and can't find it. ROTFLMAO I did that once in a mobile home. Sold it anyway.

I'm just throwing my 2 cents out there.

DannyZ; you bring out a great point!! Yes would take off for California tomorrow in the 88, perhaps not in the Nose.

Guess because Nose was my first Barth, maybe why, even with the propensity to vapor lock and the gas filters requiring change quite often, it suits my need, seems shorter trips, 300, 400 miles are most of my trips and so far nose always has survive those, maybe not without help, but survived. Gives me a kick to drive too!!

Perhaps just not a smart guy!!! Deadhorse

Heading south next Tuesday. (winterizing the coach!) We'll take our time, 4 or 5 days on the road. We will stay a few days in Florida, then drive the car back. Back to Florida for good in early Dec.

Have Barth, will travel Tooling Along

Steve, I saw you said something about nightmare construction in SE Michigan. I wanted to run 75 from there down, but how do you think I should get from Grand Rapids to 75? [Sorry for the thread drift but it should be quick.]

Normally, fastest is I-96 east from GR to US23 at Brighton. South on US23 to 475 around Toledo and continue on I-75. US 23 had been closed but is now open. Toledo is busy at rush hour but not bad. There are other ways to get east and south but they are not expressway.

We have found construction around Cincinnati is a nuisance. The west loop around has been smooth and fast.

Looks good. I've never used that route but it's pretty direct.[end of thread drift]

Looks like Duane sold the 88 to five-oh and it’s now in Arkansas.

Congratulations to both!
