SOLD 1992 30’ Barth Breakaway MID ENTRY Spartan Cummins Diesel 5.9B 190 In-line injectors w/Banks Turbo and Dual port intake 4 Speed Allison 101K m Costa Mesa CA 92626 In my opinion this is the best example of a 92 mid-entry 30 foot Breakaway by Barth Motor Co. Simply put, you will not find the quality and value in a 30’ diesel pusher at this price. My wife and I are extremely diligent about keeping our Barth immaculate and well maintained. It is the talk of our neighborhood and is kept spotless inside and out at all times. For the outside I rinse the Barth at least once a week with De-ionized water which leaves no water spots or residue. De-ionized water also helps repel dust and cleans better than other methods. The Barth is kept next to my house so it gets continuous maintenance at all times unlike units left neglected in storage lots. Batteries are checked and filled with distilled water and always kept at a full charge. Fuel and water tanks are always kept full. Black and gray tanks are always emptied after each trip. Sofa and seats always kept covered. This coach drives perfectly straight and is extremely quiet. Starts effortlessly with no smoke, shifts smoothly and travels down the road with just two fingers on the steering wheel. All controls are completely functional. Dash AC blows cold as well as the two roof air conditioners. This is a non-smoker coach. No unusual odors or perfume type smells. No leaks or drips anywhere ever. Kohler 7.5KW LP generator runs flawlessly and easily powers both AC units. The Cummins manual accompanied with the engine recommends the first engine rebuild at 400K mi.s. Please keep in mind this Barth does exhibit some normal wear. I would rate the condition of the interior and exterior at a 9 based on it’s age. The clear coat along the top roof edge has disappeared but is not noticeable. I simply keep that area waxed and its just as shiny. All joining points are riveted, rather than welded to absorb bumps and jolts from over the road use. In this exclusive design, the frame, exterior panels and rivets are all manufactured from the same tempered alloy, With climate changes, these components expand and contract in harmony, assuring durability and longevity. The lightweight aluminum translates into fuel economy-over 12 miles per gallon. Mechanical Specifications Spartan chassis Cummins 6BTA turbocharged engine 190 H.P.
