Could you please tell me the height inside the shower area? We have started looking at units and we are finding that my DH cannot stand up in many showers - he's approx 6' 3", 245 lbs (but shhh, don't tell him I told you that Wink)

Thanks so much -

Laurie

Ed, is the long dimension of the bed fore-and-aft or athwart?

If I was in the market I'd definately check this one out.
Ed, just wondering how quiet the Generac is, and if it will run the air OK. Jobsite Generacs tend to be pretty loud, but I've never seen an installed unit like yours.

The Generac is twice as quiet as the old Onan and twice as efficient. It has a large muffler similar to the Onan. It runs one air very well. It is gasoline powered. Total mileage hasn't changed a lot, we drive it around town to keep it healthy. We are going on a 600 mile trip next month-tubing the Guadalupe.

I put a one-lung Generac in our previous SOB (3.5 KW?) It powered our single a/c nicely, & was much quieter than the 6.5 KW Onan in the Barth, mainly mechanical noise.

Hey Ed
What's the advantage of the aluminum billet pulleys you installed? Thanks

Ed, what was the result of your MSD 6 system? I'm thinking about changing my stock distributer. Already have special wires and plugs and they seem to help my fuel economy.

Nology Engineering, San Diego, Ca produces something they call the Nology HotWires system. They have been used by various top fuel dragsters,Kenny Bernstein, Joe Amato, Cory Mac. The hotwires system delivers spark with an ulra-short duration, 4 nanaseconds, vs conventional long-duration spark of 4 thousands of a second. Tests using a GM HEI distributor and an MSD 6AL ignition showed increases of 7.3 HP and 7.8 foot pounds of torque. Quicker and better combustion equals better fuel consumption. Silverstone BERU plugs are used. I have claimed 10/11 mpg and no one believes me. Everyone says my speedometer is off. I'll be out this weekend and am going to check the speedometer(odometer) with mile markers. Won't it be interesting if my speedo is correct?

Ed, is your Barth a 50 Amp unit or 30 Amp? Does it have the standard converter or an inverter?
Thanks
Jim

Ed, would you tell me what the wheelbase of your Regal is? Also, are the windows dual pane or single pane and do they have any rattles? Thanks very much.

Just bought 4 new Bridgestone R187 and 2 new Optima batteries. I'm ready for hurricane season again. After Rita and Ike, let's all hope and pray for a very slow season.

Amen to that! There's no "good" place for a major storm to hit. The Bridgestones might not be the quietest tire on the market but they have treated me very well. Remember to keep them protected from the sun. I'm thinking Optima is a high dollar battery. I need 2 house batts and am leaning toward Interstates, about $105 per.

I got 2x220AH 6V Interstate golf cart batteries for $75 each (2-1/2 years ago). I had to redo the holdowns, but all else was easy.
