WHAT A GREAT BARTH! a world of difference from a 92 with 5.9L, 4 speed on Spartan chassis (like I had). Under-cover storage makes a coach stay so much younger. But, no Genny?!? never had one? That would be strange. must be very agile with the short wheelbase | |||

On the question of missing genset..original propane kohler was removed and never replaced. Installed solar and hd inverter and carried small honda portable..haven't used it in 7 years as solar does its job here on the west coast. Bob and Jan Orr Canadian Barth owners 94 30ft. 1994 Barth, 30 foot MH. 80,000 miles, Class A diesel pusher. Cat 3116 engine with turbo (250hp). Allison 5 speed MD3060 World transmission. All aluminum body construction. First sold new in Florida then a 2nd. owner in Arizona. We bought it in Prescott Arizona in 2005. It has been stored here at our home on Vancouver Island under cover since then when not being used. All fluids and filters are regularly changed each year (at about 5000 miles) and any mechanical issues regularly looked after. About 5 years ago I removed cranky Kohler gen set (propane) and turned its compartment into outside storage. At that time 3 solar panels were installed (360 w). Also installed was a Xantrex RV 2000w. converter/inverter/charger. We use to carry a portable honda generator but never used it. House batteries (4-3 year old 6v. Bob congratulations on the sale. You coach has the closest build number to mine and I actually have come across a few pieces with your build number. I also have the blonde woodwork and those are some of the pieces with you build number on them. I'm sure you will put the new owner on to this wealth of information called Barthmobile. We sure don't observe any borders. It is just one big Barthmobile World just like the Barth Globe. Sorry to see you go.
