Spent the last few nights with SOB friends at a great State park. It is located about 9 miles west of Mackinaw Bridge, runs along 26 miles of the Lake Michigan Shore.

There are 150 lakeshore sites, another 100 offshore. Typical state park: electric only, dump and water available. There were about 25 RVs in the whole park this weekend!

Here's our sites: (Check out the old Shasta Trailer on the left!)

Nice sized sites (see the lake behind the trees)

Right behind the coach:

Miles of beach:

Mackinaw bridge is just around the point on the right. The distant shore is the Upper Penninsula.

Have Barth, will travel

Always liked Wilderness SP. went very near it when setting up for the Mack Attack MINI mass (768) bridge crossing in August.

Steve, you have me thinking about taking the Pleasure-Way there yet this year. Did you make an advance registration or just drive in? I do have the van plate for park admission.

ps
just noticed how cleverly you color-matched lawn chairs to the Barth Click

They don't take reservations this time of year. They are officially open till the end of Oct. The office is open until 4pm, after that just drive in, there's plenty of room!

Great sites all over!

We had the chairs for years... we bought the Barth to match them! ROTFLMAO
