I am looking for recommendations (and warnings) for a park in Tuscon. We may need a semi-permanent space for at least a year. Looking for a secure location, reliable showers, toilets and laundry facilities. Must have a 50 amp service & sewer hook up. Prefer cable tv & internet access as part of the monthly fee, but if that is not possible, those services need to be relatively inexpensive & reliable.

Tom, I stayed at a park just south of Tucson some 20 yrs ago. I know the park is still there. Don't know name of it now,It is about a 1/2 mile off Houghton Rd. where Houghton Rd.Runs into I-10 south of airport exit. Worked a 6 month temp. at IBM out there. Lived in a 22' class C. I was in Motorhome heven back then.Single collecting per diem. Drop hoses and electric on weekend and head out. the park was secluded and kept nice. My lot was on a corner, out the front window was just sonora and mountains. Had a million dollar view for $160 /month. If any one been there recently I would be interested if it is still as nice.

We checked and according to recent visitors it has declined substantially in the last five years. We will keep looking, thanks for the info and we encourage anyone with more recent visits to the area to chime in.

Viewing the web site brings back memories. The photo of the sun over the mountains is what I woke up to in the A.M. looking out the windsheild. Was gravel roads, no blacktop. A little dusty but stayed cooler. I was there thru the summer.
