Is anyone going to the Daytona race next week?

I'll be down in Daytona next week and if anyone is going to the track I'll try to meet up with you.

I'm not going to Daytona, but I only live about an hour from I-95 - maybe I could meet you along the way for lunch, lies, or maybe we could change the Barth's oil... Smiler

I'm flying in from Myrtle Beach and then I'm stuck with a Nascar bus group, hotel stay, booze, food and the Nascar chalet. It looks like the only way I'll get away from them is when I'm at the track.

The wife got me these tickets for my 40th birthday and this is the way she did it. She wanted to make sure I had transportation if I'm drinking.

So is there anyone that's going that's staying at the track.

I'm at Daytona and went to the Busch race yesterday. As Danny suspected I had a blast and that was just at the Busch race. I can't wait for the main event.

It seems that the hotel I'm staying at, Hampton Inn, Altamonte Springs, Orlanda was visited by at least one, possibly two, fellow Barthmobiler as there email addresss is still logged into the sign on screen.

So Tim Fortner and DFowler, how did you enjoy your stay here? Smiler

Hey Bill, still waiting for the final report. On TV the fireworks looked incredible.

I had a blast, the fireworks - the race - the entire event was well planned out, I would do it again!

I was disappointed in the outcome of the race. I figured Bobby would do better. The wreck wasn't his fault and he did run good.

I won't turn 40 again, well, at least not in this lifetime. Wink

I thought it was pretty neat to see the great Daytona track in person and for 2.5 miles it was an easy track to watch.

I know what you mean. Daytona is something to be experienced. If you get to try Talledega you'll see what it's like doing the same thing but out in the boonies. Glad you had a good time!
