Thinking about a Myakka State Park trip to make sure everything is ready for Dega. The new campgrounds should be open by then and it's a nice park anyways. Looking at September 30 to October 2 or the following weekend, which is Columbus day on Monday if that concerns you.
If this gets any attention maybe we'll call it a GTG, but for now we'll leave it at a meet-up.
How about it Carl and Betty? I know Lennie and Judy will make it if possible. We'd like to see Capt. Jim & Barb too. Doug & Jan will be there with the Tin Can. [I haven't asked them yet but I know they will Roll Eyes]
This is a nice chance for a run-out of the summer blues for your coaches, so think about it.

It would be intriguing, but it is the same time as the Peach State Star Gaze...besides, I've heard OLD people live down that way... ROTFLMAO

Carl, all our prayers for Betty, and a speedy recovery. I think you'd really like this park if you haven't been here before. Reservations are very weird right now, probably due to the new campgrounds under construction, but we should have plenty of time.

Just talked to a Ranger at Myakka and the reason nothing shows up as available is Reserve America is not really repping them right now and it's a 1st come basis. I asked if the new campground would be up and running by October and got a "no comment". Stay tuned for further developments.

We won't make it .Judys knee will not replaced until sept 7th.Which gives her time to sleep and walk around inside only, would love to be there. Judy wants to go camping at Myakka river be fore her operation . We have decided to go August 31-Sept1 and Sept 2 .We have to leave on saturday Judy is taking the new interim pastor thru her first communion on Sunday. After that some Sundays will now be open for camping . This will be a fairly new experience for us .Since we could do it during during slow weekends when there was no communion .
If anyone can join us for on a day or more that would be appreciated .
thank you
lenny.
