Tomorrow I will leave for Texas, AGAIN, We have moved our activities to Victoria TX this year. New area is new set up and a lot of work! March 24-26

I am leaving early to take my time and enjoy a slow trip. I have done a lot of work on the RV since October. Test run seems OK but still after all the work I may need time if something isn't quite right. Will post what I have done in the tech forum later.

Will be taking I10 most of the way. Weather window looks OK. Plan on spending some days at Pt. Lavaca TX beach for a few needed days of R&R.

I always look forward to what the bikes can do. The Hyabusa Kawasakis are doing close to 200 from the factory so they should be really fast. Good luck with your "job" and keep us posted.

When I get the spread sheet done for the event, I will post aa link to it. One guy I know well has done over 70 consecutive runs of at or right over 200 MPH on a Busa!

We have had Gals do over 230 MPH.

Wow! How does anyone go that fast on a motorcycle without becoming airborne? Must be a sight to see!

Safely in Pt. Lavaca TX. Ben here for couple of days at the beach. GREAT place for a bit of R&R before the work!

The mods and changes I made on the Breakaway have worked out well! See tech talk for the details.

I visited a good friend that drives a Kawasaki, He has gone over 200 MPH 170+ times in a measured mile. He has also driven a BMW thru 48 states, to the Arctic Circle and all but 2 Provinces of Canada. He is a cancer survivor! A real bike enthusiast for sure!

I will be at the beach for another three days then up to Victoria for next weekend activities March 23-26. I will post race information as I compile it.

It isn't pretty if someone come off at speed, has happened a couple of time in the 15 years I have been timing these events. we have more trouble with racers going off the end as they have missed the finish line and were unable to stop, and it is never a rookie that does this!

Texas Mile is done, new world record for the Ford GT, 293.6 MPH! Videos are now all over Youtube

Fastest bike was 262 something.

I will have more posted after I get a few more miles back toward home. Have another event at Mojave April 8.

Good event, had a few rain delays and my equipment had some damage but all in all, was good.

What happens to your guts when you go that fast and slow down like that? I think I would be wearing the inside out.
