Chambers Lake is a also located up the Poudre river at 9200'.   There is a boat ramp.  WE started at home (4800') but (9200') was too much for the syrup.  There has been a lot of pine beetle damage in Colorado. The campground has been spraying for 6 years and it is working.  The weather about 75 day to 45 night seemed about perfect.      Looking in.  Looking out.  We had a beautiful site with water on both sides.  When the website states convenient to bathroom, It means too close to bathroom.  The campground was overrun with chipmunks.
