I am packing now (see my post in Barth improvements) to go to the Texas Mile. I will or will try to leave tomorrow if all goes better today and I get more material built and packed These last few months have been a real grinder for me. I have designed and built all new equipment for use to time the cars at the Texas Mile. I have a lot more to pack than before so it is taking longer and I also want to leave a few days earlier as my set up will be longer this event.

I probably can not make any stops along the way other than rest stops. Upon my return I will take my time and enjoy the ride. My usual route is down I5 to I10 to Houston and then later 59 south to Beeville TX.

Still not decided but may change to the Northern route along I40 to 285 south to TX.

The Texas Mile certainly owes you a debt of gratitude for all the things you do for them. It is kind of you to share your expertise.

Some day I would like to attend, I love fast cars and cycles. Smiler
