The previous owners of Bert II, Chris and Dianne Chrisman, drove the Breakaway from Bozeman to Denver to help us save a few miles and hours coming to TN. Just a few hours after they left Bozeman on Thursday, a devastating hail storm hit Bozeman, did major damage to houses, vehicles and crops. Had they waited a few hours, the Breakaway would have been severely damaged. Wow! They met Tere in Denver and gave her a two hour tour and check out on Saturday and left for L A in their S10. A few hours later, Denver had severe storms but they went to the west and east of where Tere is staying. Double wow!

Sorry to hear of your issues Jim. Aren't you an ex cop? You should know that the way to tell a seller is lying is that their lips are moving! This is the second nasty "buy" story on here in the past few weeks! Caveat Emptor!!!!!

Rear seal is a fairly easy repair, just takes time. You need a transmission jack, Impact wrench and a stout heart.

Transmission jack about $100 at harbor freight.
Rear seal about $100 all over the place.
And a barring tool that you may borrow from me.

Where is Madisonville? I will be in Elizibethtown KY in Sept if you need a supervisor.

Hey Tom. Yup, maybe there is more to the story, but Jim did say he found an oil drip catch bottle hanging under the seal. Sounds fairly air tight!

It that's the worst issue, it's minor. As has been mentioned many times, the new owner will have things to fix, no matter how well the coach has been cared for.

Morning Jim, sounds like you are getting a handle on it. It seems that no matter how much maintenance you throw at your coach stuff always happens. We're at Munising Mi with the plumbing in several different pieces, living with jugs of water. We are still having a great time. T&N

Hey Jim, you just blew by us Big Grin
Happened to look towards I 40 here in Crossville TN and long and behold a Breakaway Barth was zipping by around 10:50am today. We were just going off the exit ramp and sitting at the light when we spotted you (in the left lane to let Old Dominion on). Nice looking coach! Congratulations!
