Candy and I spent the day packing our Barth, this is our second winter and this time we are taking less "stuff" as we have weeded out things we took last year and didn't use. Saturday we are leaving for Dallas and plan on a week there to visit a relative. Then it is off to south Texas, we have no reservations so if anyone knows of good parks to stay in or things we should see please reply to this post.

Travelers World RV Resort in San Antonio is located 4 miles from Downtown and the Alamo. Easy access and great service. They have a web site. Are you traveling for the winter or looking for a seasonal park? Many people stay in the Valley (Harlingen, Brownsville) = the epicenter for Winter Texans. We also liked Amistad reservoir in Del Rio, less congested and if you are retired military Laughlin AFB is fully equipped.
