My southern relatives are babysitting Midnight.

Left last Tuesday late morning after Midnight got new steer tires. Had 10 years on the old set. They were going sell them and split the proceeds. Until they saw the dates. They looked brand new. Take care of them and they take care of you. They asked why I was replacing until they saw the date. Three different of the staff looked them over.

Late start went to Wallace State park near Cameron, Missouri. Nice park. Pull thru, easy to get in with my Chevy Colorado 4 wheel down.

Anyone else irritated with the State and national parks that you can’t get a map of the sites without going into the reservation system????

Next thru KC (pain in the a??) our only major metro on the trip that doesn’t have a good route around. Next stop Antler Texas. Little private RV park. Nice overnight.

Midnights winter abode by Dark. Plugged in for a few days. Over to relatives and card playing visiting until Tuesday night I moved over to relatives for a watchful eye until I return after Christmas and hunting season wrap up.

Left Wednesday morning at 5 AM and home at 2:30 AM Thursday morning. 21.5 hours in the Colorado whewwwww!

Winterizing today 65 degrees. Saturday supposed to be a high of 31 degrees and snow. Minnesnowta.

Harold & Cat you were out galavanting or we might have tried to catch up.

Picked about a 5 gallon pail of Pecans. (Surprised with the drought). Loaded cooler with 2 different Boudin’s. Just need enough until we get back. Worried what the crawfish season will produce this year with the drought.

This is my view from Midnight’s winter home for us. Private road for walks if the boogeyman doesn’t get you. Lynn hears the birds in the cane and gets a little jumpy.

There are Gators, nutrias, snakes, fire ants all not normal Minnesnowta night walkers.

Here it is Christmas Eve and 54 degrees here in Minnesnowta. No white Christmas for us. Will head south sometime before the 12 of January.

Looking forward to seeing y’all after we get settled in and spend some quality time with the relatives. Be down until after a wedding mid April.

Piling my projects to do while there. Damn piles getting big. I hate sitting but every projects mean costs. I think Lynn will have to get a job
