It's a twin to mine, one of 4 known '94 Breakaway 28's.

This was for sale by an elderly widow in '05. It was then reported sold. Six months later, she had it for sale again; I planned to fly to Seattle in Jan '06 when mine became available 150 miles away.

I lost track of it since then. It has the large basement storage of the '94s (a plus) but the GM 6.5L TD/4L80E drivetrain (A minus with that number of miles). Knowing what I know now, if I were buying it, I'd offer $10K.

MilSpec AMG 6.5L TD 230HP; built-to-order by Peninsular Engines: Hi-pop injectors, gear-driven camshaft, non-waste-gated, high-output turbo, 18:1 pistons. Fuel economy increased by 15-20%, power, WOW!"StaRV II"

In either case the idea is quite staggering.

Rusty. Is this not the same ad from 05? I remember the pictures from when we were searching the net looking for a Barth back then too!!
I think it's likely a stale ad from when you saw it for sale.

The photos are the same as back in '05. IIRC, back then it was in RV Trader. This very well could be an ancient ad, posted by the original owner on another site.

Yes, they could! That was about the same price range I recall - but this could be a very old ad.
