Just when you think you've seen it all! Looks like a nice coach actually. In a 22 ft the 6.5 diesel should work pretty well. hmm

QUOTE:
This classic 1982 22' "Euro" Class A has 85,400 miles with a 1984 Jasper remanufactured GM/Detroit Diesel 6.2 L (around 70K) that's mounted on a Chevy P30 bread truck chassis. American General utilized this power plant in the military Humvee and Hummer H1. The coach's GM 3-speed automatic feeds a Gear Vendors overdrive--a $3500 add on--that provides a *huge* improvement in ride comfort and mileage. For example, she cruises at about 2500 RPM at 70 MPH. Tires have excellent tread and even wear.

The 'house' is a unitized, all aluminum, aircraft riveted frame and exterior skin, floor to roof, with a fiberglass nose that defines this "Euro" model (NOT the typical wood stick/fiberglass construction offered by competitors). A welded box sub-chassis, made from 1" steel tubing, is integrated with the house below the floor. Euros are very rare but a Front Engine Diesel (FrED) with a rear entrance is more or less impossible to find.

Does everything work? No, she's 36 years old and there are some gremlins, mostly electrical, but nothing that interferes with normal operations. It's in good condition for its age. This is not a gutted, unfinished, hunting/deer cabin 'project' as it's ready to use. It's more of an incredible platform for someone that is mechanically inclined and might appreciate a vintage restoration. As is, this coach gets a LOT of looks and interest--we'd love this rare and unique motor home to go to a good home!

We're not using this coach enough as trips now are flights to the West coast to visit our kids. If I can answer any questions, please don't hesitate to email or text. Thank you for looking...

Miscellaneous:
* Flexsteel captain's chairs
* Onan propane generator, remote start/stop, powers roof A/C & heater
* OEM mechanical parts still readily available
* third owner, took coach to Harold's Frame for inspection of suspension, brakes, etc.
* solid wood cherry cabinetry
* original documentation
* absolutely the most knowledgeable and supportive community of online believers!
* Newly installed items....
- flooring
- starting and house batteries
- converter/battery charger
- glow plugs and relay
- kitchen faucet
- interior LED lighting
- annual roof sealant, coating
- Air Lift 1000 air springs, front suspension assist

Needs attention:
* passenger windshield is cracked
* dash air needs compressor clutch, mechanic believes compressor ok, roof air works
* tank monitoring panel has never worked, usual reason for electrical issues is bad grounding
* welded box sub-chassis (above) needs repair due to rust
* very slow loss of power steering fluid, haven't found source
* noisy rear ceiling fan (Fan-Tastic Vent, now Dometic

Heard from the seller. He has a 'pending sale' on it. Said he would contact me if it fell through.
