Found in the back woods of Kentucky by that eagle eye spotter, Mrs. Nancy Johns. Not many raised roof units out there that were built as RV's. Seems to have all the Barth extra features. Raised roof, Bustle storage, and a tag axle. Nick

Way cool! Just when you think you've seen it all! The variation in Barth coaches never ceases to amaze me. We have 3 tag axle coaches 34 ft from 76-77 with raised roof and rear bustle, perhaps that was the package then. None of the other post-Euro (1983) have the roof/bustle combo. Bill H's 84 has high roof but no bustle. The data tag indicates this is a GM chassis produced in 1978! The C---- VIN numbers ended in 1980, that's what caught my attention. The Barth tag number 2831 falls between 2822 Euro 5/82 and 2839 Euro 8/82, yet it indicates 11/82 as production date… Maybe a factory redo or owner wanted mods? The stories these things could tell. 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp
