History Acquired by the seller in 2009. (Previous owner was the University of Texas). It was custom built by Barth for UT as a speech and hearing mobile office. All plans and specifications from the build are kept and available. The original Barth build included factory installed totally self-contained, Holding tanks gray and Black, fresh water, water pump, closet restroom with sink, Electric hot water, plumbing, electrical, sewer, generator, central basement air conditioning, propane gas heater, hydraulic leveling, backup camera as well as an emergency exit sign. When the seller purchased the then 15-year-old Barth in 2009 there were 9K miles shown. All the miles from UT were logged and these records are available. The Barth had sat in the UT parking lot for many years and was not in use. The seller had the Barth towed to Tyler Texas where it was mechanically gone over including, new plugs, plug wires, fuel tank dropped and cleaned for contaminates, new fuel lines and filters, tires, belts, hose’s, oil change and all filters new. New Tires. The Barth proved to be reliable the remodel began. Improvements After complete strip and repaint, graphics were installed ($6K add). The seller, an architectural woodworking contractor, in keeping with the Barth clinical look added Plastic laminate clad cabinetwork. Also added a shower, a kitchen with a 2nd sink, storage cabinets, wardrobe, queen size murphy bed. (the murphy bed really makes the coach livable for valuable floor space) dual loveseat recliner, inside and outside TV’s with automatic satellite dome, refrigerator, countertop oven and cooktop.($8K add on) After 5 years of use the Generator failed and a new Onan was installed ($12K add on). A front spring broke and the seller had professionally installed front air ride suspension including air compressor tank and cockpit-controlled ride height ($6K add in). Additionally, 2 roof air conditioners were installed in 2018 as the basement air was not working as well as it should ($4k add on) Basement air replacement was too costly thus the transition to roof air. In 2019 the heater core was replaced as it was leaking., during that work the AC evaporator core was also replaced ($4k add on) Barth has traveled from Texas to Colorado 3 times, Arkansas 5 times, Florida 2 times, Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma and New Mexico and of course multiple trips in Texas. Since acquiring the seller has added 22 k miles. The seller has subsequently purchased a Colorado property and no longer needs the Barth. This coach is a very reliable unit. Everything works. Recent February 2020 Texas inspection and registration complete. Willing to deliver it personally to perspective buyers in continental US depending on agreeable schedule.
