New candidate for the overhang hall of shame...drive axle appears to be in the about the middle of the coach!

Extreme for a Barth, seems to me.
P30 much larger frame than most? Really?!?
Is it not what "most" gas Class A's had for quite a while? (after Dodge was no longer the supplier of choice)

Perhaps he is referring to the 6 inch steel channel that Barth fastened on top of each GM chassis rail when they built the tag axle versions.

Did Barth make any GM/tag axle coaches longer than 34 ft? That might be (should be?) the upper limit for that chassis! confusion

IMHO, my 33 is a bit longer than ideal. It is now quite stable and easy to drive, but I would shoot for 31 or 32 and a tag axle for the best overall GM based coach.

There is an extra frame rail (is it 6" or 8"?) Sure helps working clearance underneath, too. mechanic
