Interesting. Seemed a little dicey reaching into trees like that, but the only helicopter I pilot is a small electric RC model. I couldn't help but laugh when he said the "kid" probably had big money tied up into the plane... it looked like grandpa or even dad could easily buy a new one given the digs of the property they were on.

How do you explain that one to your insurance agent..."I was hovering low in the trees to recover a $500 model aircraft, when a gust of wind caught me, hit the tree, wrecked the $500,000 helicopter."

God bless 'em when they are rescuing people, risks are justified, but a model plane?

Make the kid climb the tree! (Or give me 2 minutes with a chain saw)
