To all , On my recent trip, my gas cable to the carb. broke. Do you know that no auto parts stores have your cable. I was told it would take 3 to 4 days to get one that was close. If you are on a time trip that is nuts. Well while i was sitting there staring at both the gas pedal an carb. i saw that the cable slides thur the sheat that protects the cable. Guess what Lowe's or any hardware store has the cable an crimps. It was too simple, but it worked. Cost $10.35 including tax. I hope this will help anyone that may have the same problem. For future reference. Marine throttle cables, Teleflex is one brand, are very similar. They are available in lengths to order.
