Been sad all day yesterday, Steve. That VW was an integral part of your legacy and your traveling! If I can assist with anything, please let me know!

Steve, how about a CV joint, closer to the engine, on my van the boots were always splitting, was thinking a wheel bearing would start a fire at the tire. Oh well does not matter just an awful loss!!

RIP old VW bus, you were a beauty. If you need a replacement, we are parked next to a cool place with several of them in a warehouse....

Steve, so sorry about the loss of your VW. Will you replace it with another toad of some sort? We currently have a 95 Saturn for a toad that we found in Atlanta with 60000 on the odometer. Tere put a base plate on it and we towed it behind a Ford Winnie 5 years ago and didn't even know it was back there. Haven't towed it with the Barth yet. I use it as my daily driver. Gets 30+ mpg. Maybe it's easier to rent a car when one gets to their destination?? But your Barth is still fantastic

Have both a 74 Super Beetle and 62 tube caged dirt buggy. Just can't get away from them VW's.

I think it will make a great TOAD. Don't Know how your going to get that Silver Hawk in there. Guess you can put a hitch on it and tow the trailer. nono
