Steve, how about a CV joint, closer to the engine, on my van the boots were always splitting, was thinking a wheel bearing would start a fire at the tire. Oh well does not matter just an awful loss!! 1971 24 ft Barth Continental P30 chassis 350 engine

RIP old VW bus, you were a beauty. If you need a replacement, we are parked next to a cool place with several of them in a warehouse.... https://scumbugs-vintage-vws.b...&utm_medium=referral In Columbus GA 1999 Bluebird Custom 33' 8.3 Cummins diesel pusher Former owner 1989 Barth Regal 25'

Steve, so sorry about the loss of your VW. Will you replace it with another toad of some sort? We currently have a 95 Saturn for a toad that we found in Atlanta with 60000 on the odometer. Tere put a base plate on it and we towed it behind a Ford Winnie 5 years ago and didn't even know it was back there. Haven't towed it with the Barth yet. I use it as my daily driver. Gets 30+ mpg. Maybe it's easier to rent a car when one gets to their destination?? But your Barth is still fantastic Jim
