Danny ZAds
This morning the site is full of ad links from Better Surf. I tried to deactivate but the links they give you deac just send you to more ads. Is this just my PC or is everyone getting this?

Danny ZSince I'm the only one getting this stuff, more info. Random words are underlined and highlighted in green, and when you put the cursor on them they have an ad for something. Also, at the bottom of the page there is an ad. Just tried to deac again with no results. This is the only site that's plagueing me with this crap so I'm surprized to find it's my PC. RustyYou've been infected by something. No doubt you installed the software I recommended under "N00z from teh G33K". Run Malware Bytes Anti Malware, Ad-Aware, and an antivirus scan.
Also go to your browser's tools and look at the plugins (this is the most likely culprit).

Steve VWWhere do these people get the idea they can dump this crap advertising in sites like ours and actually sell something?

Better Surf, eh? Let's put it this way... I wouldn't look at their even if they offered to PAY ME! Good luck with the exorcism, Danny.

Gary CarterHad the same bug in Firefox. Could not delete the addon. So using window explorer looked for addons
and found two in my firefox files. Deleted same and all was fine.
You can also go to help and restart with addons disabled to check it out.
The above are for Firefox.

Danny ZFinally figured out how to get rid of it. Thought I'd failed but then remembered to re-boot. All fixed.
