Is it a race?

Bubba BarthIs it a race?
Just wondering. I say yes. Big hills and big rigs crack me up.
All I know is Bubba Barth is no slouch.
Objects in mirror are losing.
For being the least aerodynamic vehicle possible it's impressive.
Surprising having airliner heritage Barth chose a rectangle.

What airliner heritage?

Bubba BarthIt has a Z-bar type of construction, where the top section is attached to the
side section. The Z-bar allows the flexibility that gives it strength.
Employing the same manufacturing concept used on a jet aircraft, the frame
is riveted in place using a total of 2,I20 rivets. Each rivet is installed by a
two-man team. It's that team, plus the rest of the employees in the plants,
that Umbaugh hold in high
esteem.
So they got the manufacturing correct but not the shape.
THat's for Morgan and is found in the Barth history thread.
And no I have never tested the Barth in a quarter mile. interested though. It is faster than my Suzuki Samurai. Now that thing redefines underpowered and unsafe at any speed. But so fun it's worth it.

Mogan DavidDoes not HERITAGE make.

Bubba BarthThey were smart enough to look at the construction of jets prior to making the first trailer. I would think that's heritage. Plus Spartan chassis was started by aircraft engineers. So I would think Airline heritage played a role.
Stop picking the fly S#!% out of pepper. It's just a comment. Remember semantics.
Here is the actual definition of heritage. It fits the way I used it.

Steve VWSorry, I don't get it. When I think of Barth I never think of racing... except maybe my favorite Barth accessory.
When I got the coach the "monkey light" was in it. Note the monkey riding the SNAIL (with top hat, reins and goggles, no less!) I tell people it reminds me of 86Barth: "Racing along at a snail's pace!"

Besides, I wouldn't want to disturb my copilot with all that racing nonsense...

The only way ole Barth would fly would be over a cliff!

Bubba BarthI love it. Racing snails.
As a guy we will race anything. Top of a snowy hill two shovels two people sit in the scoop and see who is faster to the bottom. Yeah it's a sickness.
I guess it's relative. Like lord of the flies.

Mogan DavidThis is aircraft HERITAGE:
http://www.tincantourists.com/..._wright#.UzRnK9zK5v0I can't find where the claims in Robert Barth's patent mention aircraft construction.
http://www.google.com/patents/US3282603Spartan had nothing to do with Mr. Barth at the travel trailer company he left to start his own or at the Barth company until AFTER years of existence

Bubba BarthHeritage refers to something inherited from the past. The word has several different senses, including:
Natural heritage, an inheritance of fauna and flora, geology, landscape and landforms, and other natural resources
Cultural heritage, the legacy of physical artifacts and intangible attributes of a group or society: man-made heritage Food heritage
Industrial heritage, monuments from industrial culture
Virtual Heritage, an ICT work dealing with cultural heritage
Inheritance of physical goods after the death of an individual; of the physical or non-physical things inherited
Heredity, biological inheritance of physical characteristics
Birthright, something inherited due to the place, time, or circumstances of someone's birth
Kinship, the relationship between entities that share a genealogical origin
Hope this helps.
Besides it's a joke. Let it go man.
It would be foolish to say that the Barth had no airline influence along the line somewhere. Even if that was just in the products he chose to be a part of it's design.
