Nick CagleElectrician Gone WILD or Slight Case of Overkill
As many of you know, Donna and I are restoring (or you might say rebuilding) a 1945 cottage as our retirement home. We are in the final stages and the electrical work is completed.
You have to keep in mind this is only a 1400 square foot house and survived for the last 67 years with an old screw-in fuse box with 8 fuses and 1 30A 220V circuit for the clothes dryer.
New 40 circuit breaker panel with only 2 remaining unused spaces.
There are only 51 duplex receptacles and 49 light fixtures in the house.
Four ceiling fans.
and over a mile of wire but the panel is finally buttoned up.
Think the power company is going to like us.

Steve VWJust make sure not to let any of the "smoke" out of those wires!
49 "dark suckers" in the house... that'll take a lot of smoke...

Wish you lived next to me.....................
Looks good Nick!
Better to have circuits to spare. If anything trips your breaker you sure have an easy time figuring out the issue.
If you mapped out what goes where
