Hello Everyone,

My name is Joe Myers and my wife is Wendy Myers.

We just purchased a 1988 Barth Regal 28A from Hector Silva, aka Chico.

I flew from Greeneville, TN to Houston on Saturday, went over all the systems, then left at 11:30 am Central. Made it to Meridian, MS at 10 pm. Slept in a Walmart parking lot with 6 other RVers.

Left at 5:30 am Sunday and got home at 2:30 pm, not bad considering losing an hour for the time zone and another hour for Daylight Savings.

I am retired after 25 years in the car wash industry, building and programming those automatic drive through car washes that you now see every couple of miles. Before that, I served in the US Navy nuclear power program as a reactor electrical operator, or nuke electrician.

My wife is an accountant for a property management firm that owns/manages 52 apartment complexes. She is officially retired on April 30th.

Looking forward to meeting some of you at shows or rallys, as we are proud to take on the responsibility of maintaining this beautiful machine.

Safe Travels to All !

It was such a pleasure meeting you! I truly hope that you and your wife have an amazing time exploring in the Barth. There’s something incredibly special about these coaches, and I’m absolutely thrilled to see this one go to another RV enthusiast who truly appreciates its value.

Wishing you both many joyful and wonderful adventures ahead!

Great to have you in the Barth Family, they are glorious machines, and from you trip description, you are gonna be a fabulous Barther!

The next scheduled or not yet scheduled get-to-gather is in June in Minnesnowta, sponsored by one of the old timers on this site, Dana. Keep an eye out for the details as he will post them when he has made the plans.

Again welcome and enjoy the Barth.
