"5+ Years of Active Membership" 9/11 |
Rusty, Every night between 7pm and 8pm there is a super bright star/plant that can be seen in the sky. You can see it by facing south it is in the west section. I am curious because someone told me it is the space station that is reflecting the sun off of it. Opps...posted this in wrong forum, meant it for the star gazing. | ||

That's Venus. The ISS would be moving S to N (roughly), and would never appear stationary. Thanks Rusty. I always knew that Venus was one of the brightest, however for the last several weeks it is the brightest I have ever seen especially around 7-8pm. | |||

BTW, the next brightest is Jupiter, which now rises in the east after nightfall.
