Tennessee might work for me in Sep. It would be good to see everyone and I should have an engine for Mary Ray by then. We'll see! 9708-M0037-37MM-01 "98" Monarch 37 Spartan MM, 6 spd Allison Cummins 8.3 325+ hp

Another Racoon Mountain GTG would be easy to deal with! Maybe this thread should have been started under RALLYS AND GTG's. I thought the intent was to gauge interest in a Great Lakes regional get together. In addition, there is obviously interest in some members gathering elsewhere. I am about four hours from the suggested OH location. TN would be more like twice as long a trip. Indeed I have been thinking about going South sometime this Summer -- was thinking about the campground at Fontana Village Resort, Fontana Dam, NC. I usually get a cabin, at the resort, when I go down for MINIs On The Dragon. I am contemplating a trip to the Atlanta area, in the near future, to pick up an extra set of wheels and tires for my convertible.

Raccoon Mountain gets my vote, although I would also like to go to Doorman's Gathering and I can't afford both! Mary Don't mess with us old folks, we don't get old by being stupid! 1968 Barth trailer, 1975 Barth Motorhome and 1985 Barth Motorhome

It's fine here - this forum was made to provide a place for discussions, musings, and planning of events. Once firmed, an event would start a thread there. Still leaves July/Aug for Mitchigan, cool weather (and biting flies ). Oct can be cold in TN, first freeze Oct 15. And them leaves are just bringing too many people. Did not mean to steal your idea of Great Lakes, but you had Milford up north, TN is kind of a day drive away for a lot of folks. Just sayin'. 1999 Bluebird Custom 33' 8.3 Cummins diesel pusher Former owner 1989 Barth Regal 25'
