...available on eBay. Even if you're not interested, the '79 brochure is an interesting read....While the interior color pics might make us wince today, I'm sure they were high-fashion back then...I can just picture myself driving away from the factory, wearing plaid polyester bellbottoms.....

Just go to eBay Motors and enter: Barth
The brochures come up below the two coach listings.....

Thanks Bill, I think I have almost all of this stuff, I am high bidder on the ones I don't have. I know there are some new people on the site. Has everyone heard the story about the guy who drove one of these Iveco Barths from Sacramento to the most southern tip of South America..A seven month round trip. Even cruised down the Amazon on a barge. Email me I will send you the whole story. This is all on the Barth CD also.

The gentleman later sold that coach on this website in about a week.

A little-known incident on the Amazon barge trip was when a small tour group of lawyers capsized in their launch in piranha-infested waters.

.

.

Within 15 minutes the lawyers had consumed ALL the piranha in that area of the river.

Don't laugh guys, today almost anyone (well not everyone) can do that with Photoshop but back then it was cut and paste. My wife is an expert at that and we used to have a huge stat camera in our basement. Getting that perspective right is what the graphic artists got paid the big bucks (ya right) for.

I received a spam email sometime back showing a tow truck pulling a car out of the water off of a dock and then the tow truck went in the drink. Then a bigger tow truck came and it fell in. And then an even bigger tow truck came, with the same result. It wasn't till I noticed that the people standing around hadn't moved an inch through all of this that I realized it was a "computer aided" situation.

It's surely a cut-and-paster - no private vehicles are allowed on the Acropolis...

Well................ yes, in a way. When I said it was quite a climb, I meant by Shank's Mare. That was the only way up there. I am informed by one of my sons that there is now an elevator for the handicapped and wheelchairs. Previously, the only wheeled vehicles up there were wheelbarrows.
