Does anyone know what the longest Class C Barth made was? Also, when did they stop putting the drop down bunk over the driver/passenger area? We keep trying to find one for the kids and the triplets. Just can't go with a stick and staple/rubber roof anything. Lazy Daze makes an alum sides/roof but they're too much for the budget. Maybe there's another well made sob that I'm not aware of. Any help would be appreciated.

Jim, I think the class C only came in 19 and 21 foot lengths.

In the SOB line are "Superior" MHs. I think they made school buses like Blue Bird and also made some square MHs in the 70s. My father in law had one. Not many around no more and no Class C, just A (size 21-28 feet) but they had that fold down bed over the drivers/passenger seat. If you want to look at SOB Superior, there is a 1972 on http://cars-on-line.com/38942.html for sale. Overpriced, but they are steel and heavy.

Jim, the drop down bunk bed disappeared between 1978 and 1988. Our 24' built in 1978 had it, but the 25' built in 1988 did not. I remember asking Jack Knotts about it but can't recall the response; I believe it was discontinued closer to 1988 than to 1978.
