I did a search and did not find the answer I am looking for, so I am asking it here...has anyone added an after market transmission cooler to a AT542 Allison transmission? I am looking for recommendations to keep my trans cooler while going up steep upgrades and while towing my trailer. I am looking at adding a fan cooled unit under my Breakaway but want to make sure I do it right. My internet search cautioned me of fluid restrictions on an Allison transmission? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Ours had one but it didn't seem to make all that much difference. Getting rid of the 542 did.
