stumped by the toilet

Renovating bathroom. Toilet may have been original (Sealand). It was stamped "HMS Mayflower." This is the replacement piece for the top of the toilet mounting box. It is exactly like the original. The toilet was mounted directly over the intake for the black water tank. But this puts the toilet way forward. 4 inches from center of hole to front edge. Ordered Dometic 310 but the front extends WAY over the edge, so sending it back.

Ideas?

This was the solution...

Searched for the RV toilet with smallest mount diameter...turned out to be a Sealand model (so was the original) but base still just a bit too big. So added an oak trim piece to the Home Depot faux tile.

Note to self: Don't even think about shag carpet in the bathroom. Good grief.
