Based on the "back engine compartment" I assume you have a diesel? What brand/model of cruise is it? The Barth coaches vary so much we never know what we have for sure.

Try a site search with the model name.

Make sure you are getting vacuum to your cruise control. I ended up adding a vacuum pump in order to get my cruise to work.

I am sorry but I don't. I had the repair done at a shop. I was getting nowhere figuring it out. I think they bought it from a local auto parts store.

Gonna have to trace the piping...mine has only one for both HVAC and CC.

Moving this to Tech Talk for better exposure.

Evan If you have a 30' diesel pusher, good chance you have venturi vacuum generators. One in front and the other in the rear. These fail and when they do, you will not have cruise or HVAC functions. These vacuum generators use air pressure to generate vacuum and are NLA. I as most others with these have replaced them with a motor driven vacuum generator.

The cruise control on these units are very old and chances are it may be very difficult to repair. I found my unit was badly corroded inside and gave up on it.

My venturi vacuum was ok after I replaced it about 9 years ago. If yours has failed, new ones are available. Having a hard time trying to figure out how they fail. You are simply blowing air across the top of a bottle.

My control unit was bad and ending up getting a audio vox ccs 100 which has worked just fine for years now. Used the original wiring from up front to control it.

Rostra universal kit is an electric contained in one unit. This would just be wire it in and travel. If you search for CCS100 you will find the vacuum unit at murphs.com
