Well, it was a great Barth rally until the trip home. I noticed that the front tires were cupping. Bad drag link on the right side of the coach. Soooooo, a new or rebuilt drag link and new tires. Does anyone know if the drag link on this coach can get new ends or do I have to order the whole thing?

Hi Richard, just picked up a new drag link (short on) and new tie rod (long one)from Spartan. The tie rod is OK but I found the dag link to be totally unacceptable because spartan changed suppliers and now only one end in adjustable. Crazy because now to adjust, you would have to remove one end and could only turn it 1 full turn, I don't know how to dial in the wheel for centering.

I took the drag link back and will replace the ends only. I tried to get the ends at Spartan but they were out of the ballpark in price.

I could buy the entire tie rod for 1/2 the price of the two ends.

I kept the tie rod but will source the ends for the drag link locally. Yes, they are replaceable.

I think you have my contact info, if you need more info, contact me directly. We are now heading back to CA and will be in NE tonight.

HTH

P.S. the front roof A/C just crapped out! Grrrrr.
