Had a better (more productive) day on Wednesday, found the lost DC fuse box, hiding in plain site, replaced fuse on converter, and it is converting and charging. Furnace blower comes on, refrigerator works(compressor type), lights work, including Barth door handle, control panel not functioning but that may be a fuse issue also.

I tried starting the gen set, it turns over but does not run. Now the mystery, in some of my RV's I have had an automatic transfer switch to go from shore to gen set, in others I have had to manually plug and unplug the gen set, on the Barth I cannot find a transfer switch, and the out put of the gen set disappears into a wall. At the coach end of the shore power cord is a hard wired 30 amp cord, there is also a female 30 amp outlet with circuit breaker, not used, perhaps the out put for power, or is that the input for the gen set?

I cannot find the female power cord outlet, it is still hiding in plain siteSmiler

Chuck who is confused, but that is a familiar place.

The 30A outlet is your output from your gen. after you get the gen running plug your shore cord in and your set to go. I have a compressor fridge too. works great.
