Bill GFlexsteel Seat Parts
My Barth Regeency has Flexsteel seats. The arms swivel up and down to allow easy access and have plastic control levers on the ends to allow for the seat swivel and recline. The levers lift and pull on a cable to release the appropriate catch. They are black plastic with an icon on the top surface to show the action of the lever. I need to replace the plastic levers and the frame bracket that support the lifting part. The seats were built in late 1991. I can provide more specific information if needed. Are these parts available?

DALE SMITHThey are still in business as I talked to them a week ago. They moved from Angola, In. to Elkhart in Jan. of this year. I will find their number later today cause I am out the door right now. I think I found them on the net too. Dale

davebowersYou might also want to try Bradd and Hall. They are a huge RV Flexsteel dealer. They also have great prices on new captains chairs.

Bill GThe parts that I was looking for are no longer available. That spurred my creativity. I grabbed the super glue and some marine GOOP and went to work. The parts are now fixed and in good working order with no tell tale signs of my devious efforts. My wife can now release he seat back. Thanks all for the advice.

Ol' BetsyJust snapped the recliner lever and wonder if this is the same repair you had to make. A few years have passed since your post, but I'd appreciate any input on repairing that lever. William Goodwin mentioned super glue and marine GOOP -- has that fix survived?
Thank you.

Ol' BetsySince my gluing ability is apparently about as good as my mechanical ability, I emailed the Flexsteel factory and learned that they do have the handle parts available for $14.99 I think. We ordered one, sent photos and got the wrong side. The factory apologized and is sending us the proper one free of charge.

Bill GBetsy,
I'm glad to see that parts you needed are still available. I checked on the part I needed and they said that they were nolonger available. Fortunately, I was able to repair mine. Since we have the same year coach, I wonder why you could get the part and I could not.
Could you sent me a picture of the part? (wgood1209@verizon.net)
