I need to know the length of the chassis to engine braided ground strap for a 1984 Chevy P30. I plan on purchasing one here just in case before I head up to work on the Barth next time, considering the limited parts supply where I'm going. I would just buy the longest one I can find, but I'd like to have some idea first.

Also, so I have some idea when crawling around under the Barth, where approximately might I be able to find this ground strap? It's a braid strap, right?

Thanks
-Curtis

It's cheaper and easier to make your own out of battery cable. Just buy some extra ends with an eye and cut to fit where ever you want to mount one.
