Sloop John BAir bags
Just came back from a Church Campout with 8 other couples. The Barth was the talk of the group. My left rear air bag was down and I added air but it is down agian. The line to the back bumper is copper tubing. What kind of plastic or rubber tubing would one use to replace it? JKB 88 Regal 28' 454 18,300 miles.
I used 1/8" plastic airbrake tubing...fittings were push-to-connect on one end and 1/4" pipe thread on the other....No problems in 3+ years....available at about any heavy truck parts supply......

bill hI use regular 1/4" truck black plastic air line, from NAPA. You might contact Air Lift or Firestone, whoever made your bags, and get the whole tubing and fittings kit from them. Avoid exhaust heat.
