On a 1985 Regal are there two wiper motors and/or two switches? When the wiper switch is turned on only the driver's side wiper activates. Any suggestions?

You will have 1 switch for each side. If pass, side dosen't work possible bad switch or motor.

The wipers on my '88 work independent of each other. Perhaps the other years were different.

On our 89 we had two independent switches and motors. The passenger side did not "park itself" anymore. You could run both or just one.

Thanks for the responses. Still trying to get my new purchase home and the driver indicated only one wiper was working. There are two switched on the dash but the knob is broken off of one. I assume that is for the passenger wiper.
