Hey Trailer People

I would think your Barth is like mine. My trailer has a 4 bolt hub that they tell me is indicative of mobile homes. My wheels are rusty & would cost some money to powder coat. On top of that they are ugly.

I had taken the Air Flo to my trailer guy to put a new coupler on the tongue. At that time I had him check the brakes. Oh well! he says there shot but he can get me new ones. Well I ask if I can change the hub to a 5 lug pattern; No!. Not true. There is a wheel shop near me who any time I needed something out of the ordinary had it or could get it. George pulled out a 5 lug Dexter hub. I asked him about the brakes & he comes out with a new backing plate w/brakes. The only thing I need to check is the amount of holes in the plate, 4 or 5. On top of that he brings me out a beautiful 5 star aluminum wheel. George! Is that a trailer wheel? Yes!

So now for 640.00 I will be switching to give the Barth a super new look. I believe he said they are Chevy bolt pattern.

On to finish the interior & then new wheels. In for a 100, in for 500. It's a Barth. IT will outlive me. I may even have to polish her out
