Belt conversion 2000 V6 to 1976 350 V8
In the process of parting out a 2000 4.3 V6 Blazer. Will the drive accessories (P.S. pump, alt, water pump drive, A.C. and brackets from the V6 bolt onto a 76 350 V8.

This would give me a serpentine belt system along with a good A.C compressor, bigger alternator and new style P,S. pump.

I know that a 4.3 is basically a 350 less 2 cylinders. So I am thinking this might be a practical upgrade.

Sure could use the pro and cons of this.

It should bolt up but check the heads for the bolt spacing.

I know all the vortec "V" blocks (6s & 8s)are the same but the '76 is not a vortec engine so it may not work.
