We recently aquired a 1989 25 footer with a Chevy chasis.
There are a few things which the locals were unable to help us with...and here they go:
1) the HVAC controler (specifically the fan switch) only works in position one and three (two and HIGH don't work)
it's not a GM part and no one seems to know where to locate a replacement, nor does anyone care to open and fix the old one.

2) the air vents (dash) are ALL broken. HAve been to quite a numbre of mechanics and none know of any sources for replacements.

3) There is an "auxilliary start" switch on the dash, does anyone know what it's for?

We are a volunteer security patrol, the vehicle sat for a while before we "inherrited" it and the previous owner is nowhere to be found. It seems that it was owned by a medical enterprise of some sort.

Any help/info would be GREATLY appreciated. As is obvious, this is our first experience with a vehicle like this.

Thanks in advance :-)

3 The aux start will hook up the starter to the two coach batteries as well as the sterter battery. Works like a dream on the engine or the genny. The reason not to have it on all the time is to make sure it's there when you need it. Bill may add his knowledge to this.
