Hey Folks,
Wiper on the right side will not park in the middle of the windshield when turned off. Parks on the right side of the windshield. And the motor gets hot to the touch during operation. Is one condition symptomatic of the other? Had this issue with the left side some time ago the first time I owned it. Got it back this time and the left side parks in the middle.

Since no one else replied, here is what My Barth does. Wipers do not have a "Home" to specifically stop at. Whichever side is closer is where they stop. It depends on where the wiper is when you turn it off. I try to stop them closer to the center.

On the 86 the wipers are electric, self parking (horizontal, pointing to curb side), and independent (separate switches)

The 98 has both wipers on one switch. I have not used them much (I got them in October). They seem to park vertical in the center. I am not sure the motor arrangement, I will inspect and report later. Mechanic
